Therapy for adults navigating stress, trauma, and life’s transitions

Grounded, relational, and ethically informed care for complex inner experiences

AREAS OF FOCUS

Trauma & nervous system regulation

Support for individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, including chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and patterns of survival that no longer feel sustainable. Our work focuses on restoring safety, regulation, and capacity through a steady, relational approach.

Life transitions & identity shifts

Therapy for adults navigating periods of change — including career shifts, relationship changes, grief, parenthood, or existential questioning — when familiar ways of coping no longer fit and a deeper reorientation is needed.

Burnout, moral injury & chronic stress

Support for caregivers, clinicians, and others who carry responsibility for others and feel depleted, resentful, or disconnected from meaning. This work gently addresses overfunctioning, boundary erosion, and the emotional toll of sustained pressure.

Ketamine-assisted therapy preparation & integration

Relational, ethically grounded support for individuals engaging in or considering ketamine-assisted therapy. Emphasis is placed on preparation, meaning-making, and integration within a broader therapeutic process rather than viewing ketamine as a standalone solution.

Perinatal mental health

Support for individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional complexities of becoming a parent. This work is informed by specialized training and clinical experience while remaining grounded in whole-person care.

Emily Holland, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hi, I’m Emily Holland, a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults navigating stress, burnout, caregiving, identity shifts, and trauma. My background includes hospital and outpatient settings, where I worked closely with patients and families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

I bring a calm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental presence to therapy. My style is warm and grounded, while also clear, practical, and deeply informed by trauma work. I believe healing happens in relationship, and that therapy should feel like a space where all parts of you are welcome.

My practice is especially attuned to people who tend to carry a lot — emotionally, logistically, and invisibly. Whether you’re navigating a season of transition, feeling depleted, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I offer care rooted in curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based practice.

Holding Both: Trauma Integration and Identity in SOF Partnerships and Parenthood
This presentation explores the complex emotional landscape experienced by partners of Special Operations Forces (SOF) service members, focusing on the delicate balance of integrating trauma with identity, relationship, and family life. It offers insights into how trauma manifests within SOF partnerships and parenthood, emphasizing the importance of holding space for both vulnerability and strength. Through trauma-informed approaches, the presentation provides strategies for emotional regulation, resilience building, and fostering connection amidst the unique challenges of military life. Designed for clinicians and community members alike, it aims to deepen understanding and support for the often invisible emotional journeys of SOF families.
